Nicola Feltham
Pre-School Leader

Nicola has worked in both the Landulph Under Fives pre-school and school over the years, and whilst members of staff have been studying. Now with school aged children, she has committed more time to Landulph Under Fives Pre-School and has completed her level 3 qualification in order to support her promotion to become our Leader. She is an invaluable team member and widely doted upon by the children within the pre-school and the village community.

Karen Heck
Deputy Leader

Karen joined us in 2017 as a preschool assistant and has since become very popular with the children. She has 30 years of experience in nursery care as a UCA in various sectors, including working abroad with the red cross and in the community as a senior night nurse. Karen has a level 2 qualification which she studied for at Derriford, and she has previously worked in other local preschool settings. She loves being creative and is often seen bringing in unusual items for the children to use their imaginations with during craft time – who knew that a roll of wallpaper and a few foam pipes could create so many smiles, laughter & beautiful artwork.

Abbey Crockford
Assistant

Abbey joined us in 2017 after gaining valuable experience within various childcare settings and has since completed her level 3 qualification. She is loved by the children for her bubbly, energetic & caring nature, always giving time to any child who needs a little extra reassurance. She’s a firm favourite with the girls, leading role-play hair salons and shopping trips.

Maire Glancy
Assistant

Maire joined us at Landulph Under Fives in January 2016. Maire is an energetic qualified teacher and offers the team a huge amount of support and advice from her many years of teaching in Canada. Her daughter also lives in Landulph and her 2 grandchildren attend Landulph School, the youngest of which also attended the Under Fives setting until Summer 2017. Maire is a very relaxed and calm individual who impresses the children with her headstands!

Deborah Lewis
Assistant

A highly qualified retired teacher who got involved with the preschool when her grandchildren were attending, Deborah encourages the children to enjoy being outdoors learning through play and interacting with nature. She is normally responsible for bringing in tadpoles for observing and arranging trips out to the village park and riverside!
