Landulph Under Fives Preschool is a friendly and enthusiastic group, aiming to provide all our children with a secure and motivating environment in which they can develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. A friendly place to grow, to think, to learn, to play and to make friends.
We offer a space for children to be themselves, to explore the world around them and learn through play. We follow a structure at preschool so the children become comfortable with a routine and this helps them to feel safe and secure. We encourage friendships in an inclusive setting where new friendships are borne which can last a lifetime. As a small, friendly and dedicated preschool, we can offer your child the attention and nurturing they need at preschool age. We are able to have fun with the children in our setting while also being available to comfort the little ones if needed or wanted.
We were rated Good in our most recent Ofsted inspection in November 2018.

We can offer breakfast club and after school club (wraparound session) subject to demand – please speak to a member of staff for more information.

Typical Day
Children who join us for breakfast club enjoy a bowl of cereal, a slice of toast and a drink with their friends to start their day off. Once settled in after the rest of the children join us at 9am, we practise our daily phonics. We use Jolly Phonics and the children love singing the songs and doing the actions! We complete a craft and one to one observations in the morning along with some free play and lots of time to explore outside.

Snack and Lunch
Landulph Under Fives regard snack and lunch times as an important part of our day. Eating represents a social time for children and adults, and helps children to learn about healthy eating. Landulph Under Fives promote healthy eating using resources and covers the topic ‘Healthy Eating’ during the pre-school year. At snack and lunch times, Landulph Under Fives aim to provide nutritious food, which meets the children’s individual dietary needs.

Where Are We?
We are based in a bespoke preschool room at the back of Landulph Memorial Hall in Cargreen overlooking the river Tamar. With a safe and secure outside area and a vibrant and welcoming inside area, we offer a range of learning experiences for our children. The preschool room was converted in 2014 and is a fun, educational and inviting setting. We would love to show you our preschool and have a chat about what we offer.
